Recently, students from Portland Youth Builders had been tasked by Portland Startup Weekend to create the upcoming Spring PDXSW logo. With the guidance of educators Matt Tabora-Roberts and Jessica Peirson, students from the Youth Media program spent hours of classroom time taking a stab at creating new designs for our upcoming spring event. On Monday, March 4th, organizers had the privilege to see the work submitted from seven talented students.
One of these designs will be chosen to grace the front page of the website as well as set the brand for this spring’s PDXSW. The student-designer will receive free admission to the event as well as valuable mentoring from PDXSW Organizer of Design, Josh Bailey, during the event.
